Our Security Guards are offered employment in a dynamic role in one of the most unique work environments that BC has to offer. This customer-facing role has the crucial responsibility of making our passengers feel safe and secure as they travel from coast to coast.


The Day to Day:

Ensure the safety and security of ferry terminal (Horseshoe Bay) and onboard vessels

Act as a visible security presence and deterrent to support a safe environment

Engage with the public to provide assistance, direction, and exceptional customer service

Perform security procedures including unlock/lock-up checks and routine inspections

Operate communication tools such as radios and escalate incidents as necessary

Identify, report, and help mitigate safety hazards

Support passenger safety and satisfaction during coast-to-coast travel


What you bring:

Valid BC Security License

MUST have a personal vehicle and MUST be comfortable driving West Vancouver

Excellent communication skills

Comfortable with radio communication

Ability to write reports on job-related activities

Comfort working independently and in varying weather conditions

Punctuality and reliability

Physically capable of standing and walking for a duration of 8 hours


Availability:

We offer a range of shifts and availabilities, including days and overnights, and offer

full-time,

part-time or

on-call employment opportunities
