In this role, you will: • Lead or participate in reviewing implementation of network security policies across network infrastructure and applications. • Monitor production network patch and vulnerability health including Internet Protocol backbone, data centers and edge pops across the globe • Ensure the continuous availability of all data network services • Identify gaps, risks and issues and navigate organizational structure to resolve them • Perform regular proactive network monitoring to ensure proper functioning and reliability of the network • Apply knowledge of security and regulatory policies to monitor sound practices in design and implementation of foolproof secured network solutions • Provide resolution information and work with other teams to complete impact analysis • Deliver support to engineering teams during change management review and approval process • Partner cross-functionally with other Product Infrastructure teams in order to continuously improve and apply standards and policies relevant to operational excellence Required Qualifications: • Network Engineering Experience – this role requires experience deploying and configuring network infrastructure assets. This can be demonstrated by certifications such as CCNA/CCNP and or work experience. Minimum of 4+ years network engineering experience • IT Asset Management Experience – this role requires an understanding of hardware lifecycle, how long as asset can be deployed. Based on vendor End of Life and End of Support announcements and knowing what vulnerabilities are published for the assets. • Data Analytics – this role requires experience in collecting and analyzing data, using tools like arenaflex excel to parse and triage data. Minimum of 3+ years’ experience • Vulnerability Management - Minimum of 3+ years experience working in the area of security vulnerability and patch management. Monitoring vendor CVE announcements, evaluation of the risks associated to the related network devices and tracking through to resolution/patch remediation.
