About the position Multi-Asset Client Portfolio Manager Are you ready to expand your impact in one of the most dynamic and strategic areas of the investment industry? Vanguard is seeking a Multi-Asset Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) to join our growing team in support of our range of multi-asset solutions, including our industry leading Target Retirement Funds. This is a unique opportunity to become a trusted product expert and industry authority—partnering with internal investment and distribution teams and engaging externally with some of Vanguard’s largest and most influential clients and consultants. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of client engagement and product management/strategy, ensuring Vanguard continues to offer a robust suite of multi-asset solutions that deliver exceptional value and performance. In this role, you will: Act as a multi-asset investment and product expert both internally and externally. Provide investment support and guidance to relationship management and sales teams. Regularly participate in meetings with Vanguard's largest and most strategic clients. Act as a Vanguard ambassador through media interviews and industry events as required. Lead analyses of multi-asset investment product topics confronting Vanguard's product line-up, including but not limited to our Target Retirement Funds, LifeStrategy Funds, and model portfolio offer. Leverage and manage cross-functional teams as required. Prepare and present strategic analysis and recommendations to senior management at various forums. Develop and maintain key internal stakeholder relationships across the organization. Leverage client and sales feedback on products to assess product health and drive ongoing product improvements and positioning. Provide thought leadership in support of the Vanguard product lineup. Drive the creation of dynamic content and technical marketing used to position Vanguard multi-asset investment products and to respond to investor queries. Contribute to new product launches and develop go-to market strategies. Contribute to new product launches. Participate in internal training and communications including training on launches and changes to existing products. Ensure coordination and consistency of product-related marketing initiatives and external communications across divisions. Requirements • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. • Ten years related work experience, including five years' experience in product management and investment analysis/strategy. • FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses or the ability to obtain them within a reasonable period of time. • Occasional travel may be required to Vanguard clients or local/national professional conferences - up to 20%.
