Description
We are seeking skilled and experienced Registered Nurses to join our team as Mobile IV Hydration Nurses. As an independent contractor with LUX Wellness, you will travel to clients’ locations to administer IV hydration therapy and vitamin injections in a safe, comfortable, and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to clients’ homes, workplaces, event venues, and partner locations to provide IV hydration, IM vitamin injections & peptide injections
  • Perform thorough client assessments, including vital signs, health history review, and eligibility screening for IV therapy
  • Obtain and document medical history at the start of care and on an ongoing basis as related to the prescribed therapy
  • Safely start and manage peripheral IV lines, monitor clients during infusions, and respond appropriately to complications or adverse reactions
  • Educate clients on IV therapy benefits, risks, and aftercare instructions in clear and compassionate language
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, including consent, vitals, IV details, infusion tolerance, and payment status
  • Communicate with the operations and scheduling team on a consistent basis regarding availability, appointments, and client updates
  • Communicate client response to therapy and overall condition to the care team, which may include the nursing supervisor, Medical Director, or other licensed providers
  • Follow all LUX Wellness clinical protocols, SOPs, and Medical Director orders, including IV, IM, NAD, emergency, and medication storage procedures
  • Ensure all supplies and equipment are properly sanitized, secured, stocked, and maintained between visits
  • Transport medications, sharps, and supplies safely and dispose of biohazard materials only in approved LUX locations
  • Comply with HIPAA, PHI, and data security requirements, including proper handling of client information and system access
  • Follow OSHA and infection control standards, including use of standard precautions and appropriate PPE
  • Represent LUX Wellness professionally with excellent bedside manner, strong communication skills, and a client-centered approach at all times

Schedule and Availability

  • Independent contractor role with flexible scheduling based on client demand
  • Must be able to work a minimum of three weekends per month, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday
  • Willing to work independently in client homes and non-clinical environments

Required Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license that covers both Kansas and Missouri
  • Strong IV skills, with demonstrated proficiency in starting and managing peripheral IVs
  • Strong track record of thriving in high-performance environments (for example, acute care units, charge nurse roles, leadership positions, competitive athletics, or military service)
  • Demonstrated ability to stay calm, organized, and focused in fast-paced or unpredictable settings
  • A minimum of 2 years RN experience in an acute or clinical setting that supports infusion skills, such as ER, PACU, ICU, labor and delivery, or similar unit
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation and comfort using mobile technology for charting and scheduling
  • CPR/BLS certification (current and maintained at all times)
  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound nursing judgment, and adapt to changing environments in clients’ homes or workplaces
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for client education, wellness, and preventive health
  • Commitment to comply with all applicable State and Federal regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and home infusion standards of practice

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mobile IV therapy, home infusion, concierge medicine, or similar services
  • Familiarity with IV hydration and vitamin therapy protocols
