MIG/TIG Welder - Bespoke Heavy Welding
Nottingham
£15+ per hour DOE | Temp to Perm
Mon-Thurs: 7.30am-4.30pm | Fri: 7.30am-1.30pm | Weekend overtime available

Hunters4staff are helping well-established steel fabrication and engineering company based on Colwick Industrial Estate in Nottingham. They specialise in creating bespoke metal and steel structures for a wide range of industries from architectural features to large-format signage.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, technically skilled welding work and being part of a friendly, experienced team.

What you'll be doing

  • MIG/TIG welding on heavier bespoke steel fabrications
  • Working from drawings to produce high-quality structural and architectural metalwork
  • Supporting fabrication and assembly across the workshop
  • Assisting with installations when required
  • Maintaining safe working practices and keeping equipment in good condition

What we're looking for

  • Strong MIG/TIG welding skills, ideally with experience on heavier materials
  • Ability to work from technical drawings
  • Previous experience in fabrication or structural steelwork
  • A positive, reliable approach and good attention to detail
