We are excited to partner with a wellestablished AV warehouse located in Totowa, NJ. We are currently seeking motivated Material Handler/ Assembler to join their expanding team. In this role, you will assemble panels and cables, cut cable, and support logistics as needed. If you’re looking for a stable, fulltime opportunity in a fastpaced environment, this could be the perfect fit for you!
Job Details
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Pay Rate: $21/hr
  • Environment: Fastpaced production/plant setting with moderate to high noise levels
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and follow assembly instructions for product builds.
  • Work under the direction of the Operations Manager and the FAB & Logistics Supervisor.
  • Confirm that all required parts are present, functional, and meet quality standards.
  • Read and interpret specifications and measurements accurately.
  • Assemble components and ensure all parts are properly fitted and secured.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly or production issues as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Report product errors or inconsistencies.
  • Reassemble nonconforming cables and panels.
  • Assemble Optical Fiber Cable (Canare HFO Assembly Program certification required).
  • Load and unload transportation vehicles and trucks as needed.
Requirements
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
  • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with small parts while maintaining accurate, highquality results.
  • Must regularly lift up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift/move up to 20 lbs.
