About the position

The Manager, Sales Operations will be key to the success of the Marketplace Sales Organization by providing strategy, oversight and implementation of our operational activities and process improvements, including but not limited to commissions, sales systems and tools, reporting and auditing, project management, and sales compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee monthly Commissions processing and payments for external and internal sales partners in partnership with internal teams, maintain clear and consistent communication with the Sales team of any exceptions, withholds, and other causes of nonpayment.
  • Initiate, implement and maintain program improvements, including accurate and current documentation and effective communication of program status and updates to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure optimal sales team operations and performance, identification of process efficiencies, and partner with business owners, internal teams, and vendors to effectuate change.
  • Lead team of Sales Operations professionals to elevate performance of Marketplace Growth team. Provide the team with ongoing, consistent feedback in a positive, yet constructive manner, to support professional growth.
  • Oversight of sales compliance, ensuring all appropriate state and federal regulations are adhered to. Implement audits to confirm compliance and initiate adjustments as needed to ensure appropriate implementation in day-to-day operations.
  • Responsible for project management of applicable workstreams and clear communication of timelines, deliverables, risks and dependencies for Sales Organization.
  • Research and address escalations, including identification of root cause, implementation of resolution and oversight of break-fixes as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners, represent Marketplace Sales Operations across a matrixed environment.
  • Promote a culture of inclusivity, positivity, top performance, open communication and high morale.
  • Bring a solutions-focused approach to issues facing the Sales Organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in management, operations, project management, leadership or related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Health care experience required, Medicare and/or Marketplace experience preferred
