As a Manager in International Tax Services, you will be responsible for managing and delivering international tax compliance and consulting services for U.S. and foreign multinational clients. You will work closely with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners to support international tax planning strategies while overseeing day-to-day engagement execution and staff development. Responsibilities: • Manage international tax compliance engagements for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates, including review of complex filings and workpapers. • Conduct technical research and assist in advising clients on tax-efficient structuring of international transactions, including tax treaties, offshore investments, and repatriation matters. • Support clients in minimizing U.S. and foreign income taxes by applying international tax principles to business transactions and operations. • Monitor international tax law developments and assist in communicating relevant updates and implications to clients and internal teams. • Serve as a key engagement manager and client contact, ensuring high-quality service delivery, timely completion of work, and responsiveness to client needs. • Collaborate with Partners, Directors, and Senior Managers to support client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services. • Supervise, train, and mentor staff and senior associates; review work, provide feedback, and contribute to performance evaluations. • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to manage expectations, address issues, and ensure deadlines are met. • Assist clients with business and process improvements by providing practical, tax-focused recommendations. • Participate in internal training and professional development initiatives to stay current on international tax regulations and best practices. Qualifications: • A minimum of five years of progressive tax consulting experience, with exposure to international taxation. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification required. • Master’s in Taxation, LL.M. in Taxation, or JD preferred. • Experience with a large public accounting firm or large law firm. • Working knowledge of inbound and outbound international taxation. • Exposure to international estate and gift tax planning. • Experience with foreign trust matters, including foreign grantor and non-grantor trusts. • Strong technical, analytical, and tax compliance skills, including familiarity with U.S. GAAP and tax technology tools. • Exposure to multinational corporations, inbound and outbound transaction consulting, transfer pricing concepts, and foreign tax credits is a plus. • Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop staff in a collaborative team environment.
