Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION: Primary responsibilities will be to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all plant equipment. This position is responsible for installing, modifying, and maintaining all plant buildings, equipment, and machinery to desired performance levels, thereby reducing downtime and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers. Must be able to perform all duties as assigned.

SCHEDULE:
8 hours shift
Weekends & Holidays Included
$1.00 Shift Premium between 6pm and 6am

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this position:
  • A minimum of 3 years of production maintenance experience or 2 years experience with related technical education or degree
  • Ability to work any shifts, holidays, and weekends as well as extended schedules and scheduled/unscheduled overtime
  • Must have skill set in machine repair, machine shop equipment, plumbing, pneumatics, compressed air and blueprint/schematics reading. Experience or practical knowledge of PLCs and Ladder Logic, electrical including 3-phase, controls and instrumentation, HVAC, etc.
  • Possesses own tools
  • Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMPs, SOPs, Hazard Analyses, Critical Control Points, HACCP, LOTO procedures, food safety programs, and all policies established by Leprino Foods Company
  • Must maintain excellent attendance, be dependable, reliable, a team player, and willing to work overtime as required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to lift over 75 lbs. from floor to chest and climb stairs and ladders hourly
  • Must be able to support 24/7/365 operation

Desired candidates should be self directed and able to work with minimal supervision and also have:

  • Attended a trade or technical school and possess experience with control systems,
  • Experience with instrumentation
  • Experience with VFD/PLC
  • Food manufacturing experience
  • Experience with refrigeration (preferred)
