These products and brands – and the unmatched stories, storytellers, and events they carry – matter to millions of people globally.  </p><p><b>Innovation:</b> We develop and implement groundbreaking products and techniques that shape industry norms, and solve complex and distinctive technical problems. </p><p></p><p>The Business Operations team helps guide and articulate technology strategy and research, and is responsible for driving the day-to-day operation of the Product & Technology organization, including: project and portfolio management and tracking; organization-level capital, space, and resource management and allocation; process management; technical incident management; and our administrative and workplace experience support team. </p><p></p><p>This is a <b>Lead Technical Program Manager </b>(TPM) position within the Product & Technology (P&T) Technology Enablement Alliance (TEA).  The Lead TPM will play a leadership role in the delivery and enhancements of services and tools related to the internal developer platform - tools and services for scale offered to internal engineers across DEEP&T.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><p>A Lead Technical Project Manager (TPM) within TEA reports to the TEA PMO while partnering with the engineering managers for their teams; our TPMs play a critical role in structuring and executing impactful cross-org initiatives.  You will have the opportunity to refine our processes around delivery while building a sense of community and engagement within our talented group of engineers.  TPMs within DPE have a high degree of technical literacy and a desire to learn more, both within their teams’ product space and across the DPE department.</p><p></p><p><b>You Will Also:</b></p><ul><li>Drive and delivery high profile, cross org impacting efforts for multiple engineering teams</li><li>Enhance stakeholder relationships, understanding and dialogue.</li><li>Enhance team throughput by removing roadblocks and leveraging organizational resources while helping to drive teams towards commitments</li><li>Foster cross-team coordination and communication</li><li>Assist with estimation and planning of team resourcing, in conjunction with engineering team manager</li><li>Identify, maintain, and visualize metrics to guide the project lifecycle</li><li>Lead agile ceremonies for two teams of highly skilled engineers</li><li>Develop fundamental technical understanding of the tools and services vended by your teams</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>7+ years of track record creating and growing trusting, lasting professional relationships with diverse stakeholders, maturing team’s current engagements and advocating for future work.</li><li>Demonstrable experience managing technical projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, developing and executing project plans and delivery commitments.</li><li>Deep rooted passion and proven track record building motivated and collaborative teams</li><li>Detail oriented and excellent communication skills; ability to follow technical discussions and absorb technical documentation</li><li>Experience working with distributed teams and/or distributed organizations</li><li>Working understanding of AWS and cloud based development and a desire to know more</li><li>Bachelor’s degree required</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Degree in STEM and / or experience as a software engineer</li><li>Exposure to modern DevOps and SRE practices around CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Availability, etc</li><li>Experience with containers/microservices in highly scalable cloud-based applications</li></ul><p></p>The hiring range for this position in Seattle, WA and in New York, NY is $163,100.00 to $218,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
