About the position This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Accounting Advisor - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing financial accounting and reporting activities, while ensuring compliance with IFRS regulations. Your expertise will assist in managing complex accounting assignments and enhancing internal controls. You will also be involved in significant financial analysis and process improvement efforts, fostering a collaborative relationship with various financial departments. The impact of your work will extend across multiple departments, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of financial operations. Responsibilities • Assist with complex accounting tasks including M&A activities and implementation of new IFRS standards. • Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial analysis. • Coordinate with internal groups to manage monthly reporting packages. • Support integration of financial reviews with international subsidiaries. • Handle external audit requests and ensure audit compliance. • Oversee accuracy of general ledger activities related to Treasury operations. • Prepare and review journal entries and maintain documentation. • Review account schedules for accuracy and completeness. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance. • CPA certification preferred. • Minimum of 7+ years experience in finance or accounting. • Strong knowledge of accounting practices and IFRS. • Experience in the energy services industry is a plus. • Familiarity with Salesforce, ADP, and other internal systems. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
