Tuition Assistance and Forgiveness for you and your family up to 100% depending on program. Job Description We are looking for Per Diem Nursing Assistant Clinical Instructors to join our team. Flexible scheduling is available Mileage will be reimbursed for instructors that travel to multiple sites. This will cover a 6 week cohort. We are looking for individuals to teach Skills lab every Friday for first 3 weeks and teaching Clinicals at set facilities weeks 4, 5, and 6. Shifts range from 7:30am - 7:30pm. Please see this link for additional information: Teach skills- lab and clinical rotations at a variety of times and locations in responds to program needs Ensure students are practice ready and meeting all state regulations for certification prior to end of program Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different and innovative methodologies / techniques in teaching Continually seek out educational opportunities for students in the clinical setting that will enhance their learning experience Assists with updating and maintaining student files as relates to clinical requirements, immunizations, and educational requirements. Regularly evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving curriculum and course objectives Provide daily feedback to students in real time and post clinical conferences Provide access to students for ongoing communication through scheduling office hour, electronic communication, and other appropriate methods Maintain student records of attendance, grades, and assist with program data collection, and skills check lists as required by state regulations Participate in schedule meetings with theory instructor and program director regarding student progress Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different and innovative methodologies / techniques in teaching Demonstrate or willing to acquire skills for utilizing online activities as enhancers to course content/material during interactive teaching and learning Keep current with new technologies and safety regulations Assists with updating and maintaining student files as relates to clinical requirements, immunizations, and educational requirements Participate in professional development; maintain CE hours to ensure renewed licensure, takes responsibility for staying current with college update Submit required program reports and forms to Program Director in a timely manner Other duties as assigned by the Program Director Pay Range: $40-$45/hr DOE Qualifications Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current licensure and at least 2 years of nursing experience as a licensed vocational nurse or registered nurse. One of the two years should be in providing care and services to chronically ill or elderly patients in an Acute Care Hospital, skilled nursing facility, intermediate care facility, home care, hospice care, or other long-term care setting. Must be verifiable. Experience which demonstrates: Current knowledge of nursing practice; ability to mentor students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings; ability to work independently without close supervision; broad knowledge of nursing sciences; successful handling of day-to-day operations in the nursing assistant skills lab; proficient, strong communications skills verbal and written; current knowledge/experience in clinical setting. Working knowledge of bolthires Office Suite Products, especially Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS office products as needed. Current state required immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification. Successful completion of State Board training (if required).
