We are looking for a bright, energetic and highly motivated individual to join our organization as an IT Technician. Position Summary:

The position provides internal IT support to Bank employees by performing a variety of information technology support duties in order to ensure smooth delivery of technology services. Monitors, operates, coordinates and assists others in the operation of computer hardware, software, and peripherals in order to achieve desired results. Utilizes computer equipment, software and diagnostic tools to perform a broad range of customer assistance, and equipment maintenance and repair. Consults and cooperates with other IT support staff. Technicians may also set up computer equipment, schedule maintenance and be the main point of contact for employees who are experiencing computer issues.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support users with the use of core banking applications, standard software, Windows, Google Workplace and other related banking business solutions. Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voicemail, email, and ticket requests for assistance promptly and with overall positive satisfaction. Escalate to other IT staff as appropriate while still being responsible for the prompt resolution of the request.

  • Work with third-party vendors to coordinate banking industry specific software installations, upgrades, technical support requests and monitor vendor accountability.

  • Create and update documentation on established Technical Support procedures and processes, problem resolution steps, and escalation procedures. Make recommendations to management on updates and changes needed.

  • Coordinate and/or develop training to coach, mentor or train co-workers on changes to applications as they are installed, updated or removed.

  • Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities -- knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.

  • Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
