Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility of CVS IT Infrastructure including servers, local area network and CCTVs, ERPs etc.
  • Provide guidance, direction, training to other staff on the use and deployment of IT.
  • Implement IT system security in the organization to ensure safety of data and IT system.
  • Supervise WAN/LAN.
  • Manage and maintain computer work stations and Laptops etc.
  • Provide support in troubleshooting of computer problems, ERP, CCTV, Access Control Systems etc.
  • Manage the proper storage of all company data and archiving of records and backups.
  • Interact with Managers on a daily basis to be able to see and understand their IT problems and provide competent solutions to these problems.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient running of all IT systems in the organization.
  • Keep the employees informed on the various technological changes that are taking place in CVS.
  • Communicate with management in regards to IT related issues.
  • Identify new computer systems and trends in the market so that the organization's IT status is always on the forefront.
  • Organize and lead team meetings for IT issues.
  • Ensure that the standard local licensing requirements are met and fulfilled.
  • Come up with the budget for the department and implementing it.
  • Specification, ordering and installation of equipment and software.
  • Maintenance of network software systems.
  • Control over software licensing.
  • Control of the IT budget.
  • Maintaining the quality and relevance of information, including updating the site as required, in consultation with the General Manager.

Required Work Experience & Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and software
  • Good knowledge of maintaining local servers
  • Good knowledge of networks and hardware including firewalls, switches, etc.
  • Knowledge of Firewall, switches, servers configurations etc.
  • Experienced in developing and deploying network policies
  • Experienced in setting up Access Controls and CCTVs.
  • Knowledge of HTML, SQL
  • CCNA Certification
  • Minimum three years of work experience is required in a similar role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR3, QAR3,500.00 per month
