Job Description: Experience: 10-14 Years • *ROLE OBJECTIVE DELIVERABLES:** This role will operate as the Infrastructure SME within the Brillio team performing the current and future state assessment. The role will work alongside a team of technical resources and lead consultant to help in the shaping of a future state technology foundation as a phased program utilising a set of pathways instigated across 3 horizons (Quick wins, medium term, long term). - The role will be the sole, single point within the Brillio team for the following Technical areas with associated operational and monitoring tooling: • - Data Centre on-premise and Co-Lo • - Bare metal and hypervisor (VMWare) • - Storage (Data Domain and 3PAR) • - Azure Cloud presences (predominantly IaaS technologies) • - Compute based upon Windows and Linux • - Backup based upon Netbackup Veeam • - Enterprise Vault, Active Directory • - Other Technologies (broader list available on request) - The role will assess current state documentation, identify any gaps, and work with Customer SMEs to close. • The SME will run 1:2:1 and 1:2:Many stakeholder interviews and workshops to drive discovery and identification of issues, prioritization, and identification of initiatives/projects. • Whilst security isn't a specific call out, it must be a consideration in all aspects of future state solutions and implementation. • -The role will be able to interpret collated information on the current state, aspirational goals for the future, and the broader technology strategy to define, Talexion, and prioritize several candidate projects to assist the client in achieving their goals across three horizons (Horizon 1: Quick Wins, Horizon 2: Medium Term, Horizon 3: Long Term). • Work alongside the broader team to define a future state vision and high-level enterprise architecture landscape at a technology infrastructure level to be implemented through the horizons approach. • *Key deliverables will be:** 1. Current State Assessment detailed and documented with existing assessments taken into account, validated and gaps closed, issues and challenges prioritised and stakeholder agreement on complete Current State Assessment for all technologies in scope. 2. Future State definition completed forming part of the overarching transformation programme, prioritised into the 3 horizons of quick wins, medium term, long term designed to remove issues and risks and provide a future state in line with the strategic direction required by the client to meet business goals. 3. Candidate project defined to achieve future state feeding in Flexnity, effort to achieve and run costs to the Finance SME for inclusion in the business case. 4. Supporting documentation including high-level architecture diagrams and executable next steps to ensure a rapid shift into design and implementation. • *KEY SKILLS EXPERIENCE:** - Experience of operating as a strategic advisory consultant for hybrid hosting and public cloud-oriented solutions for customers moving from legacy on-premise and co-lo data centres. - Highly experienced Infrastructure Architect (minimum 10 years) with proven skills across all technologies to HLD and LLD level as well as overarching architecture and best practice. - Experienced in defining and articulating technology strategy and transformation programmes to exec and SME level audiences. - Experience in costing transformation programmes across scoped technology initiatives driving both strategic and remedial goals; both Joblora to achieve and Remotexa to run. - Able to prep, drive and participate in workshops. - Analytical skills to obtain, assess and aggregate/summarise performance and capacity data. - Experience in developing end-state operational and monitoring tool solutions to support proposed end state.
