Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.<br><br>The GSS Capacity Growth Office (CGO) Lead will serve as operational support to the Naval Power Security Director with Critical Munitions Acceleration (CMA), Business Operators for National Defense (BOND) activities, and the Naval Power Business Unit’s goals and objectives. CGO Lead is responsible for streamlining operations, driving key initiatives, managing cross-functional projects, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills as well as the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.<br><br><strong>What You Will Do<br><br></strong><ul><li>Serve as a liaison between the Security Director and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication. </li><li>Prepare presentations, reports, and briefings for internal and external audiences on behalf of the Security Director. </li><li>Lead the development and tracking of key performance metrics to measure progress toward organizational goals. </li><li>Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. </li><li>Facilitate and coordinate leadership meetings, including agenda planning and follow-up on action items. </li><li>Oversee NP, CMA, and BOND-applicable/high-priority projects and initiatives assigned by the Security Director; identify risks and challenges, provide solutions to mitigate issues and ensure project success. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional and Center of Excellence (CoE) teams to ensure timely delivery of CGO & project milestones. </li><li>Act as a trusted advisor to the Security Director, offering insights and recommendations to support decision-making. </li><li>Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance within the security organization. </li><li>Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and workflows to enhance organizational efficiency. </li><li>Must have strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands. <br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Will Learn<br><br></strong><ul><li>Raytheon and RTX Business Acumen</li><li>Refine leadership abilities</li><li>Exposure to Executive Raytheon Leadership</li><li>Effective decision-making under pressure</li><li>Process optimization to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications You Must Have<br><br></strong><ul><li>Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience</li><li>Prior leadership experience</li><li>Prior planning experience<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications We Prefer<br><br></strong><ul><li>SAP experience</li><li>Strong Communication Skills</li><li>Risk and Opportunities (R&O) experience</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools<br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Offer<br><br></strong><ul><li>Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
