About the Role

  • Job Title: Game Developer
  • Location: Redmond, 98052

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, debug, profile AR software by using Unity C# script and shader, and C++ with native Graphics API, with focus on AR graphics workload and experiences
  • Execute and profile the AR graphics workloads on AR prototyping systems and existing mobile and XR consume devices
  • Build automation framework for graphics system analysis
  • Collaborate closely with AR experience designers, software engineers, graphics architect / system engineers to analyze and improve the end to end graphics stack

Minimum Qualifications

  • Background in Unity or Unreal gaming engines with script and shader programming experience
  • Familiarity with modern Graphics Pipeline, software stack and performance profiling tools
  • Strong experience in 3D graphics development, execution and profiling
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Perl) and experience with automation of workload execution and profiling
  • Results oriented, self-motivated, proactive with demonstrated creative & critical thinking
  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent

Desired Qualifications

  • C/C++ programming skills with Graphics APIs like OpenGL, Vulkan or Direct3D
  • GPU Shader programming experience, like GLSL, HLSL, etc.
  • Experience with VR/AR development, like AR and Hololens AR apps and games
  • Experience with analyzing graphics pipeline performance in mobile, PC or game console products
  • Background in Unity content generation pipeline
  • Ability to operate autonomously, with only high-level direction
