The Opportunity The Finance Transformation Specialist will lead the documentation, redesign, and optimization of critical Finance and Accounting processes, owning end‑to‑end process mapping and improvement initiatives that drive organizational readiness, adoption, and training for new workflows, tools, and systems. This role blends expertise in process mapping, financial operations, standardization, change management, and data‑driven insights across Financial Systems and processes, with a strong emphasis on creating clear, scalable, and sustainable process documentation. What You’ll Do Process Mapping & Analysis • Analyze current financial processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement areas. • Develop detailed current‑state and future‑state process maps and flowcharts aligned to standard documentation and governance models. • Conduct assessments of financial workflows to support standardization and automation initiatives. • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to gather insights and validate processes. Process Improvement & Transformation • Lead process redesign efforts to optimize financial operations. • Apply continuous improvement methodologies where appropriate. • Identify and prioritize automation and technology enhancement opportunities based on efficiency gains, risk reduction, scalability, and user experience. • Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the impact of improvements. Training, Documentation & Change Management • Develop and deliver training programs, onboarding materials, and SOPs. • Lead change management activities. • Facilitate workshops, pilot testing, and feedback sessions. • Communicate progress and changes to stakeholders. • Create and maintain clear, audit‑ready process documentation that supports knowledge transfer and operational continuity. • Partner with stakeholders to ensure documentation and training materials are embedded into day‑to‑day operations and onboarding. Required What We Expect from You • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. • 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, financial analysis, or process improvement. • Experience with process mapping and workflow documentation. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI. • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S. Preferred • Experience in finance transformation or continuous improvement. • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement frameworks. • Experience developing and delivering training. • Experience with ERP or financial technology implementations. • Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
