Turning Point Action is a 501(c)(4) organization that works to mobilize conservatives in the election or defeat of a candidate. Turning Point Action registers voters and engages the conservative base at a grassroots level to recruit Precinct Committeemen, and fight for election integrity and conservative values.



Job Description: Turning Point Action is seeking a Faith Strategic Specialist to build strong relationships with churches and faith-based nonprofits and encourage their active involvement in key events and mission-aligned projects. This role will play a central part in advancing voter outreach within the faith communities by promoting civic participation, sharing voter registration tools, and equipping churches to encourage informed and active voting within their congregations. Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to, building faith-centered partnerships, cultivating trust within faith communities, and mobilizing congregations for civic engagement. Day-to-day tasks involve outreach to church leaders and nonprofit directors, coordinating community initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams to develop effective faith-driven campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of faith community culture and communication styles, paired with a passion for conservative values and civic engagement, to mobilize faith-based partners around voter engagement initiatives.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and build long-term relationships with churches and non-profits nationwide to encourage active participation in our organization's initiatives.
  • Lead outreach efforts including presentations, meetings, and local events aimed at faith communities.
  • Train leaders and organizations on how to integrate voter resources and forms into their communication channels.
  • Strategize with marketing, events, and programs teams to develop campaigns tailored to faith-based audiences.
  • Provide regular reports on church/non-profit participation, trends, and impact.
  • Stay up to date with faith community trends, outreach best practices, and engagement strategies.
  • Develop resource materials (flyers, toolkits, and presentations) that reflect the language and values of faith-based communities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong familiarity with church and faith-based structures, culture, and communication styles.
  • Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills, able to engage diverse faith audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities effectively.
  • Passion for conservative principles and advancing civic engagement within faith communities.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

“WOW” SKILLS:

  • Active involvement or leadership experience within a faith community.
  • Experience mobilizing faith-based groups around voter engagement or civic participation.
  • Creative and culturally sensitive approach to developing faith-driven voter outreach campaigns.
  • Background in ministry, community outreach, or faith-based organizing.
  • Knowledge of political landscapes affecting faith communities.
