For immediate consideration please send your resume to resumes@onboardusa.com Subject Line: Position Title and State you are Located Position Details: Position Type: Full Time / Contract-to-Hire Job Location: Boise, ID (Remote + Periodic Site Visits) Benefits: Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision), 401k, Life Insurance Compensation: $41 - $62.50/hr, depending on experience and qualifications Overview/Summary: As the Facilities Process / Mechanical Engineering Owner's Representative, you and the other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this role you would work on the client's behalf to review designs, specs and drawings and provide feedback.The successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing with client and site personnel, driving design and construction documents through the review process with a team. Primary duties include the following: • Your primary duty will be to edit client specifications and standards, review design packages consisting of P&IDs, layout drawings, details, and equipment plans followed by review of vendor submittals, RFIs, and construction documents • Establish design requirements and produce construction documents for the installation of complex manufacturing tools and facilities infrastructure mechanical systems • Technical engineering responsibilities include design and oversight for piping for equipment water, wastewater, process chemicals and gasses in some of the most complex, densely packed industrial facilities on the planet • The design may include retrofit of existing building systems including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection, and specification, and support during construction and integration into the factory. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University • At least 2 years of practical application of chemical / mechanical facilities engineering, including ultrapure water, chemical distribution, gas distribution, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, waste drains, pumps, tank storage/design and related chemical/mechanical facilities systems • At least 2 years of design project delivery processes experience • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership experience Preferred Qualifications: • At least 1 year of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms • Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD software • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base • Passion for buildings and construction • At least 1 year field experience • EIT or PE license Other Requirements: • Location: This is primarily a remote position. Successful candidate will need to work onsite for 50% of the first month, thereafter, reducing to one week onsite per month. • Physical Requirements: Position requires field visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction. Applicant must be able to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work in small spaces, lift and carry up to 25lbs.
