More information is available at www.msgentertainment.com.<br /> Who are we hiring:<br /> The Extra Laborer is responsible for general cleaning duties and maintaining a safe, orderly environment. This role also involves physical lifting and moving of equipment during the building conversion process.<br /> What will you do ?<br /> • Reporting to their schedule shifts on time and in uniform.<br /> • Physically lifting heavy equipment for arena event changeovers.<br /> • Picking, sweeping, mopping and detailing all forms of arena bowl cleaning.<br /> • Extra Laborers are also specifically responsible for moving trash, handling basketball court, sports floor, portable chairs, hockey glass and hockey dash.<br /> • Operating forklifts and pallet jacks (both powered and non-powered).<br /> • They are also required to maintain a safe, clean and professional working environment.<br /> • Extra Laborers should have prior experience working with cleaning, hand and power tools, be able to learn several tasks including rigging and the use of snow removal equipment.<br />   What do you need to s/ucceed :<br /> • A high level of energy and commitment with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.<br /> • Follow our safety guidelines and procedures.<br /> • Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at a time.<br /> • Must possess the ability to work with various operating groups.<br /> • Must have a positive attitude and good team work ethic.<br /> • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook for all internal communication.<br /> • Ability to learn and navigate our scheduling software ( WorkForce ).<br /> • Basic understanding of technology, utilizing apps, comfortable learning new systems, and adapting to updates.<br />   Special Requirements:<br /> • This position includes heavy lifting and cleaning.<br /> • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends.<br /> • Typical shift hours are 11pm-7am; scheduling and amount of hours can vary based on the needs of the business.<br /> Please note this is an event driven role:<br /> • During peak season (October – April) we schedule associates an average of 3-4 nights a week.<br /> • In the off season (May- September) associates are scheduled on an average of 0-2 nights per week, based on the needs of the business and employee availability<br /> • Employee schedules are performance based<br /> Hourly Pay Range<br /> $24.41 - $24.41 USD<br /> <p id='jobcode'>Jobcode: Reference SBJ-6knk3j-104-22-24-158-42 in your application.</p> </p>
