Job Summary The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing and sustaining coverage, providing departmental insights on performance, and creating data models to solve various quantitative tasks. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with technology and business stakeholders to meet departmental demands, drive data-driven decision-making, and ensure the integrity and accessibility of our data. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain new and existing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business processes and data-driven decision-making, utilizing tools such as Power BI and Excel. Establish and enforce robust Data Quality standards and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility, and develop scalable data pipelines and architecture. Collaborate with stakeholders, including Monitoring and Business Analysts, to understand organizational needs, maintain comprehensive documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements. Apply data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful reports and visualizations, and help automate existing business functions and improve exception-based reporting. Partner with IT and business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and acquire new data variables, and evaluate large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable insights. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, resolve discrepancies, and validate data for accuracy and completeness. Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and policies & procedures, and examine and validate metrics to ensure effectiveness and provide feedback to team leaders. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: 2+ years of experience performing comprehensive data analysis, with a strong background in data modeling, reporting, and business intelligence. Proficiency in Power BI, including experience with dimensions, measures, filters, computed columns, transformations, parameters, conditional formatting, DAX queries, and interactions. Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code, with the ability to write complex SQL queries to create reports and analytics. Experience with ETL tools, such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations, and strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methodologies. Problem-solving skills, with experience in statistical analysis and working with large datasets, and proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex SQL queries. Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query, and familiarity with Smartsheets. A strong work ethic, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with a strong ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders. Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles, with experience in data validation and data cleansing. Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems, such as Git. Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Azure or AWS, and knowledge of data security and compliance principles.
