About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Billing Data Entry Specialist to join our team at Jobmatrixo. As a crucial member of our support services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely resolution of benefits questions, maintaining accurate data entry, and providing essential reporting to help achieve our revenue goals. Key Responsibilities Encounter Management: Complete all necessary encounters for various practices, ensuring accurate data entry in the appropriate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Optometrist Referral Processing: Manage the referral process for optometrists by entering referrals from the EHR into Salesforce and performing benefits verification prior to sending information to the Enrollment Manager. Out-of-Pocket (OOP) Cost Ticket Requests: Address tickets related to OOP costs as generated by the Customer Care (CC) team. Eligibility Queries: Respond to eligibility-related questions from the Enrollment Team as needed, utilizing EHR data. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 1 year of administrative, data entry, or equivalent experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, with experience in Excel or Google Sheets. Typing speed of 30-40 words per minute. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR), preferably NexTech or Athena. Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are preferred, but not required: Experience with clinical data entry. Familiarity with Salesforce. Knowledge of full cycle billing or coding processes.
