Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Digital Tech Trainer and Training Development Lead to join our collaborative team. This fully remote position, with up to 25% travel, offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional in e-learning, adult education, and team leadership to drive success and earn a competitive salary. As a key member of our team, you will create, maintain, and deliver specialized courses and learning tools to both external clients and internal staff, capitalizing on digital platforms such as Learning Management Software, bolthires, SharePoint, and media platforms. Key Responsibilities Design, create, and publish videos and content on multiple media platforms, utilizing previous real-world experience and expertise in adult learning theory Identify training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes, and regular consultation with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and leadership Become sufficiently familiar with topics to become a Subject Matter Expert, training the travel community, and creating, editing, and enhancing graphics within multiple formats to obtain images that work within branding guidelines Independently research and obtain needed job information without the need for formal step-by-step training on all required topics, and design and expand training and development programs based on the needs of the organization Obtain and/or develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media, and work in a team to produce programs that are satisfactory to all relevant parties Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation, and be an expert in classroom and virtual classroom instruction, working with technical, legal, and SME staff to make products more effective to use and thus need fewer instructions Organize and write supporting documents for products, standardize content across platforms and media, conduct ADDIE appraisals, devise individual learning plans, and produce training materials including presentations and job aids for new and existing courses Edit existing digital presentations/trainings to conform to requested changes, manage the delivery of training and development programs, monitor and review the progress of trainees, and ensure that statutory training requirements are met Evaluate training and development programs, assist managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups, and ensure 508 compliance in the majority of produced trainings Have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, be involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages, researching new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presenting this research Essential Qualifications Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken Experience in e-learning creation and maintenance, including designing, creating, and publishing videos on bolthires and other media platforms Knowledge of adult learning theory, and current bolthires Office products, including MS Excel and PowerPoint Familiarity with current Adobe products, such as Acrobat Pro, Captivate, Photoshop, Premiere, etc. Understanding of HTML5 and SCORM requirements, and general computer technology Ability to work collaboratively in a team to achieve multiple or singular goals, and prioritize tasks and deadlines Prior experience leading small teams, with excellent communication and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in the travel industry, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the sector's specific training needs Advanced degree in education, instructional design, or a related field, with a focus on adult learning and e-learning Certification in instructional design, e-learning development, or a related field, with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in training and development Experience with Learning Management Systems, and other digital platforms, with a strong understanding of how to capitalize on these tools to drive success Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify training needs and develop effective solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead small teams and prioritize tasks and deadlines Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and prioritize tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy in all aspects of work Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits As a Digital Tech Trainer and Training Development Lead, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in e-learning, adult education, and team leadership.
