We focus on high-level positions by specializing our consultants into specific niches and territories to develop a true expertise in their field - providing insights and value to both clients and candidates.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What does a Recruitment Consultant do at Phaidon International?</strong></p><p>You will develop your network, maintain and nurture relationships, and establish yourself as an expert in your market by doing these core recruitment functions:</p><p><strong>Business Development</strong></p><ul><li>Engage with potential and existing clients to build relationships, identify hiring needs, and secure new business opportunities</li><li>Negotiate service agreements and keep clients informed throughout the recruitment process to ensure effective collaboration.</li></ul><p><strong>Candidate Sourcing</strong></p><ul><li>Identify and engage top mid-to-senior and executive level candidates within your specialist niche through headhunting, cold calling, networking and messaging.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with both active and passive talent to ensure a steady pipeline of high-quality candidates.</li></ul><p><strong>Process Management</strong></p><ul><li>Manage the recruitment process by introducing candidates to clients, coordinating interviews, exchanging feedback, and negotiating offers.</li><li>Provide post-placement support by maintaining contact with placed candidates to ensure long-term success.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What are we looking for? </strong> </p><p><strong>Motivation & Mindset</strong></p><ul><li>Genuine drive to build a sales career-especially in phone-based roles-matched by curiosity, ambition, and readiness to thrive in a fast-moving, challenging environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Communication Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrates confident, adaptable, and succinct verbal communication tailored to clients and candidates.</li></ul><p><strong>Professionalism</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrates consistently reliable behaviors, including preparedness, follow-through, and respect for others, alongside professional phone etiquette-such as promptness, clarity, and appropriate greetings-and exhibits self-awareness and mature communication even under pressure.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>A strong work ethic, demonstrated through academic studies, internships, part-time jobs, or early career positions, is essential. Candidates should show clear evidence of commitment, initiative, or progression in their previous endeavors.
