The Role

As an Electrical Apprentice/Trainee, you will work directly alongside our licensed Journeyman Electricians to assist with installations, repairs, and maintenance. This is a hands-on role designed to help you develop your skills, learn the electrical code, and advance your career in the electrical industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Journeyman Electricians with residential and light commercial electrical projects.
  • Prepare and clean up work areas to ensure a safe and efficient job site.
  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
  • Assist in pulling wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
  • Work in attic and crawl spaces.
  • Gather, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
  • Actively learn and develop your knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and local codes.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the electrical or general construction field.
  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, standing for long periods, work in attic and crawl spaces, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Drive: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a genuine eagerness to learn the electrical trade.
  • Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to and from job sites.
