ITP Media Group is looking for an experienced and proactive Editor\\-in\\-Chief to lead its Hospitality Group of titles.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>
<\\/span><\\/span><\\/p>

With more than two decades of authority in the market and a loyal audience of senior decision\\-makers across the GCC and MENA, Hotelier Middle East and Caterer Middle East sit at the heart of the hospitality industry.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>
<\\/span><\\/span><\\/p>

This is an exciting opportunity to steer two leading titles covering the world’s most dynamic hospitality market.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>

The Editor\\-in\\-Chief will oversee the editorial team, set editorial strategies, and drive coverage that highlights and shapes the industry. This role will lead the brands’ content creation across digital, social and print, and steer its annual awards properties.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>

  • Lead and execute the overall editorial direction of Hotelier Middle East and Caterer Middle East across print, social and digital.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>
    <\\/span><\\/span><\\/span><\\/li>
  • Drive audience and subscriber growth across Hotelier and Caterer digital and social platforms.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>
    <\\/span><\\/span><\\/span><\\/li>
  • Ensure Hotelier and Caterer are the first to publish critical news and exclusives from the region in their respective sectors.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>
    <\\/span><\\/span><\\/span><\\/li>
  • Lead and be the brand face of Hotelier and Caterer’s annual stable of live events and awards.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>
    <\\/span><\\/span><\\/span><\\/li>
  • Develop engaging editorial calendars aligned with the brand standards<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>. Keep it current, identifying commercial and audience opportunities within it and communicating them to other teams.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>

  • Identify key industry trends, emerging themes, and exclusives to expand reach and pursue opportunities.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>

  • Produce and present regular reports on brand, audience and subscriber growth.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>
    <\\/span><\\/span><\\/span><\\/li>
  • Cultivate and maintain strong industry connections.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>

  • Mentor and guide the Hospitality Group’s editorial team, overseeing all content creation maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, relevancy, and detail.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>

  • Ensure all content meets weekly targets and reflects the overall editorial guidelines, editorial standards are met, all relevant copyrights have been cleared, and content meets local and legal guidelines.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>

  • Be an ambassador for Caterer and Hotelier by supporting and helping to develop revenue\\-generating content strategies and establishing good relationships with PRs.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>

  • Attend relevant events and conference, occasionally outside standard working hours.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>

    • Eight\\-to\\-10 years of editorial experience, ideally within the hospitality sector.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>

    • Data\\-driven and fluent in web analytics software (GA4, Chart beat, etc)<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>
      <\\/span><\\/span><\\/span><\\/li>
    • Editor with the ability to produce excellent editorial copy.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>

    • Multimedia expertise including print, digital, social, and video.<\\/span><\\/span><\\/span>
