Overview

This role is HYBRID out of our NYC office. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The Director of Merchandise Integration plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing North America's strategic product and marketing initiatives within the Footwear category. This position ensures seamless alignment between merchandising, marketing, and vendor strategies to deliver compelling consumer experiences and drive business growth. The role requires a visionary leader who can translate concepts into actionable plans, manage complex timelines, and foster collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Serve as the primary liaison between product, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive seasonal strategies
    • Drive alignment of vendor and category initiatives with North American business objectives
  • Seasonal Planning & Execution:
    • Lead and participate in Seasonal Kickoff meetings, quarterly line reviews, and marketing briefs
    • Co-author and maintain seasonal marketing plans across social, digital, and visual merchandising channels
    • Identify and prioritize marketing tiers quarterly to optimize consumer engagement
  • Project & Process Management:
    • Oversee timelines, deliverables, and checkpoints for marketing and merchandising initiatives
    • Manage special projects and bi-annual trend analysis to inform future strategies
    • Support lifecycle management and vendor preview meetings to ensure long-term product success
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Develop and present key sell-in materials for internal stakeholders and external partners
    • Cultivate strong relationships with vendors, creators, and influencers within sneaker and streetwear culture
Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of sneaker and streetwear culture, with established credibility and connections in the community
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in product, merchandising, or marketing roles within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret consumer insights and market trends
  • Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

The annual base salary range is $120000 - $140000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
