Job Description

Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism in all interactions.

Duties

  • Safely operate Amazon delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated locations.
  • Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring that all items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and dispatchers during deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week- 10 hour routes per day leaving at 10:00am

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Valid SAFE driver's license with a safe driving record; 1 plus years in delivery driving industry driving a high cube van.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving route driving and heavy lifting preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients, dispatchers and Amazon warehouse staff.
  • Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods.
  • Physically step in and out of delivery van 200 times per day.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safety practices while driving and handling products.
