Start and end dates are flexible. Interns must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) in person at the designated office location.

These paid, seasonal assignments deliver meaningful, high-impact work designed to accelerate your growth. You'll take on real responsibilities, build practical skills, and gain exposure to the business through structured learning, executive engagement, and networking opportunities.

Our internship program is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, as well as individuals seeking to deepen their education through immersive, professional experience in the entertainment industry.

The Current Programming department is responsible for managing the day-to-day of all television shows produced by the studio. Our executives guide the script writing process, notate cuts of episodes, work as the liaison between the show and other SPT departments, and generally shepherd the creative process from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining department organization and anticipating its needs
  • Covering for department assistants (including rolling calls, note taking on calls and meetings, and scheduling meetings)
  • Maintaining show data in studio database Xpanse and department staffing grids in Airtable
  • Observing and engaging with both Current execs and other SPT execs to learn and understand how a studio runs
Qualifications:
  • Passion and focus on scripted programming
  • Enrollment in an accredited college/university for the duration of the internship
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Airtable
  • Extreme attention to detail/good organizational skills
  • Previous entertainment internship experience


The anticipated base salary for this position is $19.00/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
