Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Counter Help to join our dynamic food service team! Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, including food handling and bussing duties
  • Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
  • Support food safety protocols by following sanitation guidelines and proper food handling procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast-food restaurant environments is preferred
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
  • Familiarity with food preparation, sanitation standards, and food safety practices
  • Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail environment is advantageous
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
