CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Currently looking for professional Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to fill positions with hospitals and nursing homes in Jacksonville, FL and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with working knowledge of nursing policies and procedures, and patient/family relationships.

Responsibilities of the CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Assist the client with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting and nutritional intake.
Assist the client with ambulation, transfers and/or range of motion.
Assist client with incidental activities of daily living such as homemaking, preparing meals and maintaining a clean and safe physical environment.
Promote a safe client environment.
Observe and report safety hazards and changes in client condition to Supervisor.
Document observations and activities in an accurate, complete and timely manner.
Organize self to carry out shifts/visits and complete assigned tasks.
Perform all other nursing duties as assigned.

Requirements of the CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant License
Caring, compassionate and dependable
Ability to identify and meet the needs of others
Current CPR certificate
Working knowledge of nursing policies and procedures, and patient/family relationships preferred
Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with patients, families, physicians, community resources and the general public
Physically able to frequently lift, pull/push and carry up to 50 lbs
Flexible and able to work 12 hour shifts
Up to date TB and reliable transportation with valid Driver’s license

Starting Pay: $14/hour
