About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with Customer Service experience to support the financial operations of an online subscription-based business. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and comfortable handling financial records while assisting with customer billing inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including income, expenses, and payouts
  • Track revenue from online platforms such as subscriptions, tips, and digital sales
  • Reconcile platform earnings with bank deposits and payment processors
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records
  • Monitor refunds, chargebacks, and platform processing fees
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Track and record payments to contractors, affiliates, or content creators
  • Monitor and categorize company income and expenses
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
  • Prepare basic financial reports such as revenue summaries, expense reports, and profit/loss tracking
  • Assist in maintaining payroll records and payment tracking
  • Prepare and organize financial documentation required for U.S. accounting and tax preparation

Customer Service

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email or messaging platforms in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist customers with billing, account, or payment concerns
  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding customer issues or escalations
  • Maintain courteous and clear communication with customers at all times
  • Document and report recurring issues to help improve processes and support efficiency

Qualifications

  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or financial record management
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good written English communication skills
  • Experience in customer service, client support, or billing support is preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial data

Work Schedule

  • Part-time: 4 hours per day
  • Flexible schedule, but must be available during agreed hours
