Job Summary:

High volume Auto Body Shop is looking for an experienced Body Shop Estimator to be part of our team.

The ideal candidate should be friendly, accommodating, outgoing, and have the ability to develop professional relationships with current and potential customers, as well as the ability to work well with others. Also, the ability to handle multiple situations at one time in a fast pace environment is a plus.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Provide cheerful and excellent customer service to all current and potential customers
  • Prepare all estimates in an accurate and efficient manner, keeping in mind that the estimate later becomes the blueprint for the repairs
  • Review all final bills and supplemental billings for accuracy, and thoroughly check the final repairs prior to delivery to the customer
  • Educate customers in the collision repair process, including insurance procedures, motorists’ bill of rights, repair techniques, and safety
  • Notifies Insurance companies of additional supplement parts and/or labor needed for repairs and updates the estimate with supplements
  • Periodically update customers and document all customers and insurance interactions for each job
  • Porter vehicles, customers, employees to other locations as directed by management
  • Attend daily release meeting, review the current state of sales and production, and plan daily, weekly and monthly strategies to boost performance
  • Attend training classes as directed by management
  • Candidate must be flexible and willing to travel/float between body shop locations based on business needs.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 1 years + in estimating experience
  • Strong knowledge of auto estimating and techniques and software (CCC One)
  • Knowledge and experience in completion of total loss evaluations.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License
  • Must pass pre-employment screening (background)

Pay:

  • $70,000 - $100,000 a year
