Associate Producer (Remote) – IMU Studios

IMU Studios is looking for an Associate Producer to support and coordinate game development, ensuring projects stay on track, on budget, and schedule. This role is ideal for someone with strong project management skills, a passion for gaming, and the ability to work with teams worldwide.

Location: Remote (with occasional travel)

Employment Type: Part-time to start (potential for full-time after trial period)

Responsibilities:
Project Coordination – Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking development milestones.
Communication Hub – Keep stakeholders informed, ensuring alignment between teams.
Publisher & Partner Liaison – Support relationships with publishers, investors, and other external partners.
Quality & Testing Oversight – Help ensure the game meets high-quality standards through development, localization, and QA.
Team Support – Work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to remove roadblocks and improve workflow.
Market Awareness – Stay updated on industry trends and help position the game for success.
HR Lead - helping our HR Managers with hiring duties to build the development team.
Milestones
As an Associate Producer, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of the following milestones:
Pre-Production & Planning – Assist in defining the project scope, setting achievable goals, and aligning schedules across teams.
Alpha Development – Help implement core game mechanics, working with development leads to meet deadlines.
Beta Development – Oversee final feature integration, bug tracking, and preparation for testing phases.
Launch Preparation – Support marketing, QA, and localization efforts to ensure a polished final product.
Post-Launch Updates – Help coordinate ongoing improvements, patches, and expansions.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, global team.
Passion for video games (PC, console, and/or mobile).
Comfortable with multi-tasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in project management (preferably in game development or a related industry).
Bonus Points For:
Experience working with game publishers and/or investors.
Familiarity with Unreal Engine and game development pipelines.
A background in marketing, business development, or production.
