About the Role Manages smaller scale technology pilots and platforms within Asset Protection, focusing on solutions with limited enterprise impact. Oversees day to day project execution, stakeholder coordination, and post pilot support for platforms that remain within the AP organization. This position will successfully drive the execution of AP Technology in collaboration with Gap Tech/IT Business Partners. You will build partnerships across the org to understand common goals/issues. It is through those partnerships that you will be able to provide solutions that address various problems, all while ensuring our operating standards are aligned with industry capability/best practices and Gap Inc. As such, it will be crucial to maintain a deep understanding of existing, new and emerging industry technology, programs, and trends. You will be responsible for supporting all brands and AP functions including Global Security & AP Services, Supply Chain, Digital, Stores, and Protection Operations across the enterprise. The intent of this position is to support the value proposition of AP technology across the various functional areas. You will also support the buildout of the technology innovation hub, with an eye toward continuously improving the content, adoption, and functionality of the Site. What You'll Do Technology and Innovation support across all COEs. Identify innovative technology solutions Benchmark technology solutions working backwards from internal customer requirements to drive recommended solution providers Project Management Support AP and PDM approved projects Partner with key stakeholders (Gaptech, vendors, and business owners) to drive the delivery of proof of concepts from inception through implementation Facilitate required approvals with business partners (Legal, ER, R/E, A&E, Store Maintenance, Brand) to implement projects and proofs of concepts Vendor Relationships Coordinate vendor demos across key stakeholders. Facilitate the successful completion of approvals and vendor paperwork to ensure compliance (NDA, POC agreements, Supplier set up). AP Technology Platforms Own a product platform, ensuring alignment with Gap Inc.’s strategy and roadmap. Influence and communicate product needs to meet Gap Inc. strategy and roadmap Deliver product releases and enhancements in partnership with Change Management Process & Documentation Keep “Tech Innovation Hub” SharePoint site updated Create and maintain process maps as needed to ensure alignment with overall program success Collect stakeholder feedback on product successes, challenges, and opportunities and share-out with vendors Who You Are Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Project Management certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP) is not required at the time of hire but must be obtained with the first year of employment. 5+ years of Operations experience with a focus on technology solutions and project management Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and build consensus across multiple stakeholders and functions Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners Time management and ability to prioritize /multitask Influential and Articulate At Gap Inc., we’re more than the clothes we make.
