The </span>Growth & Monetization Strategy<span> team focuses on that product experience, seeking to improve our strategy through new plans, differentiated features, new business initiatives, and pricing relative to the value we provide. To guide the business effectively, this role requires evaluating Netflix’s product experience across markets and platforms, and understanding consumer behavior changes to various offerings and product experiences.</span></p><p></p><p><span>We collaborate closely with several teams, including Data Science and Engineering, Consumer Insights, Corporate Finance, and Growth Product. This role will be based in Los Gatos or Los Angeles, California, and report to a Senior Manager of Growth & Monetization F&S.</span></p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Build business cases to inform commerce strategies, including exploring new monetization models, pricing strategies, and plan features</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develop frameworks to evaluate business performance, guide strategic direction, and ensure aligned decision-making</span></p></li><li><p><span>Conduct market research and analysis to identify and size new growth opportunities</span></p></li><li><p><span>Analyze consumer demand, price elasticity, and willingness to pay across markets and segments to inform pricing and tiering strategies</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business performance and assess the financial impact of strategic decisions</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with stakeholders across teams, functions, and markets to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives</span></p></li><li><p><span>Create memos and presentation materials to effectively communicate strategies and influence stakeholders</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications </b></p><ul><li><p><span>3-5 years of experience in strategy or analytics roles. We are prioritizing candidates who have in-house/corporate strategy experience, or who have a mix of in-house strategy and consulting/banking/other professional services.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong modeling skills and comfort with manipulating large datasets in Excel and Google Sheets</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts at varying degrees of detail depending on the forum</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to work independently; must thrive in a fast-paced, always-changing, and ambiguous environment</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver work under tight timelines</span></p></li><li><p><span>Extraordinary attention to detail and an eye toward using the 80/20 rule to address problems</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000-240,000.<br /><br /><span>Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
