About the position The Assistant Media Planner for Out of Home works closely with the Supervisors and Planners in developing and maintaining media plans, while absorbing as much media knowledge as possible about the overall business. The role involves assisting in the development and execution of OOH and print media plans, compiling data to support media recommendations, and updating media planning documents for client use. The Assistant Media Planner will communicate and collaborate with internal teams, collect competitive research, assist with client-supplied creative files, and conduct campaign audits. Additionally, the position includes attending the OMG23 Media Training Program to learn about media concepts, fundamentals, and industry trends. Responsibilities • Assisting in the development and execution of OOH and print media plans • Compiling data to support the media recommendation, including running syndicated research on the consumer • Updating media planning documents for client use • Communicating and collaborating with internal planning, activation and digital teams • Collecting competitive research and preparing reports • Assisting print/OOH team with client-supplied Adobe InDesign creative files • Developing filmmaker presentations on Keynote for client use • Assisting with the contracting of inventory and organizing proof-of-performance photos and reports • Conducting campaign audits through 'market rides' with vendor partners • Developing professional relationships with media vendors • Participating in brainstorm sessions • Attending internal/external meetings and presentations • Keeping abreast of industry trends through advertising and media trade journals Requirements • College graduate with a strong interest in a media planning/digital media career • Relevant experience (employment or internship) in media or advertising preferred, but not required • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Strong quantitative (analytical and math) skills • Demonstrated ability to articulate and communicate clearly when participating in internal and client-facing meetings • Ability to be agile and adaptable within a quick turnaround business environment • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving and critical thinking • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint/Keynote Nice-to-haves • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is preferred Benefits • Health insurance • Vision insurance • Dental insurance • 401(k) • Healthcare Flexible Spending Account • Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account • Vacation days • Sick days • Personal days • Paid parental leave • Paid medical leave • STD/LTD insurance benefits Apply tot his job
