Job PurposeThe Department of Management, College of Business Administration at the University of Sharjah invites qualified candidates for the rank of Assistant / Associate Professor to apply for a full-time faculty position in Operations and Supply Chain Management. The commencement date for the position is Fall 2026.Main Accountabilities & Expectations:Deliver effective teaching across all areas of specialization at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Drive research excellence by initiating high-quality projects and publishing consistently in high-ranking, peer-reviewed journals.Mentor and advise students on their academic journeys and provide professional guidance to junior faculty members.Supervise student research, overseeing projects, theses, and dissertations for both undergraduate and graduate cohorts.Design and enhance curriculum by contributing to the ongoing development of courses and academic programs.Support accreditation efforts for undergraduate and graduate programs to maintain institutional excellence and standards.Fulfill administrative duties and other tasks assigned by the department and college leadership.​Required SkillsMinimum Qualification includes:Ph.D.​ in Operations and Supply Chain Management (From a reputable and recognized Tertiary Education Institution recognized internationally).Master's degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management (From a reputable and recognized Tertiary Education Institution).Key Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in teaching Operations and Supply Chain Management, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levelsEvidence of high-quality research output; strong track record of research publications in referred scholarly journals in Operations and Supply Chain Management discipline. (ABDC as well as SJR journal ranking will be used by the department to assess the research output quality for all applicants. The applicants' H index will be used also to evaluate the applicants' profiles.)Prior experience in supervising postgraduate students is highly desirable.Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with industry stakeholders and community organizations.
