Job PurposeThe Department of Management, College of Business Administration at the University of Sharjah seeks qualified candidates for full-time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Management (HR/OB) with commencement date of Fall 2026.​Main Accountabilities & ExpectationsTeach effectively in all areas of Management (HR/OB) at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of courses and programs offered by the College of Business Administration, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards.Engage in research activities and lead initiatives that result in publications in high-ranking, referred scholarly journals.Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, fostering their professional and personal development.Support and mentor junior faculty members, as applicable, to enhance their academic and research capabilities.Oversee students' research projects and theses, ensuring quality and rigor in their scholarly work.Perform assigned administrative responsibilities as delegated by the department and the college.​Required SkillsPh.D. in Management (HR/OB) from an internationally recognized university.Master's degree in Management (HR/OB) from a reputable and recognized tertiary education institution.Have demonstrated expertise in teaching a range of Management (HR/OB) courses, primarily at the undergraduate level, with postgraduate teaching experience being an added advantage.Have a proven record of excellence in teaching, with outstanding evaluations in previously taught courses.Possess a strong track record of research publications in leading refereed scholarly journals ranked Q1 in the Management (HR/OB) discipline. Research output will be evaluated using ABDC and SJR journal rankings, and the H-index will also be considered. Applicants must have a minimum H-index of 8 on Scopus for the Assistant Professor position and 15 for the Associate Professor position.Experience in supervising postgraduate students is highly desirable.Demonstrate a strong commitment to bridging academia with industry and the community, with a history of impactful collaborations or initiatives in these areas.Industrial experience is preferred.​
