Your Role at Sephora:

Ready for a career glow up? As Enterprise Architect, eCommerce, you'll be leading the enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap to modernize our e-commerce and omni-channel services. The work you do will impact beauty, as you drive innovation and architecture decisions that redefine the customer experience and position Sephora as an industry leader. What You'll Do:

• Lead Architecture Strategy. Guide the technology architecture team in defining and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient architecture solutions for various omni-channel e-commerce systems.

• Design Innovative Solutions. Develop comprehensive architectural blueprints for e-commerce systems, championing microservices and cloud-based architectures to create scalable, flexible, and cost-effective omni-channel solutions.

• Drive Modernization. Lead the redefinition and modernization of e-commerce architecture practices, ensuring seamless integration between different e-commerce systems and applying industry best practices.

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally. Partner with product management, business stakeholders, and IT operations to translate business requirements into robust architectural designs that align technology solutions with business needs.

• Champion Best Practices. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, applying expertise in event-based programming, distributed applications, and real-time systems to enhance our technology landscape.

• Build Strategic Partnerships. Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, technical leads, and external vendor partners to ensure alignment across portfolios and architecture community.

 

What You'll Brin

• Advanced Education. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Extensive E-Commerce Architecture Experience. 10+ years of experience in full software development with 5+ years of demonstrated experience in designing and architecting e-commerce distributed applications.

• Technical Expertise. Deep knowledge of software architecture, architecture patterns, microservices, cloud-based architectures, and hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and e-commerce systems.

• Leadership & Innovation. Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar leadership role within the e-commerce domain, with an analytical approach to problem-solving and a track record of developing innovative solutions for complex technical challenges.

• Communication Excellence. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

• Self-Motivation & Adaptability. Highly self-motivated individual who is independent, efficient, and able to handle several projects with a solid sense of setting priorities, with passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

 

What You’ll Get: 

The annual base salary range for this position is $178,380.00 - $198,200.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum of five days.
