Southampton Office

Casa Environmental Services Ltd is looking for a motivated, well-organised Administration Assistant to join our Southampton office. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual, whether you already have administrative experience or are looking to start your career in administration, to become part of a professional, supportive, and growing team.

In this role, you will provide dedicated administrative support to the Southampton Branch Manager and Contract Coordinators, playing a key part in the smooth day-to-day operation of our asbestos surveying and analytical services.

Job Description

As an Administration Assistant, you will work closely with the Branch Manager and Contract Coordinators, providing essential administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient running of the office. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Branch Manager and Contract Coordinators
  • Coordinating and internally booking appointments for surveyors
  • Assisting with the preparation and production of survey reports and related documentation using specialist software
  • Handling incoming telephone calls and accurately relaying messages
  • Issuing and responding to emails in a professional and timely manner
  • Carrying out general office duties, including filing, record keeping, and maintaining an organised and professional office environment
  • Working independently while also contributing effectively as part of the wider operational team

Desirable Requirements

  • Strong IT skills with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Experience within the asbestos or construction industry
  • Experience using The Electronic Asbestos Management System (TEAMS)
  • NVQ in Business Administration or equivalent
