Crime Alert Security is a locally owned company that provides integrated security for residential and commercial customers statewide. In business for over 25 years, we focus on flexibility, timely delivery, and complete satisfaction with every client. We are looking for an Accounts Payable and Accounting Assistant to join our growing team.

Essential Duties:

  • Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approval
  • Prepare and execute payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Support account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding billing inquiries
  • Assist with expense reports and employee reimbursements
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team
  • Payroll review and submission

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
