POSITION: Network / System Sales Engineer
WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
WORK Location: Livonia, Michigan
SUPERVISOR: General Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES : Under general supervision of General Manager, performs IT system integration,
maintenance and sales support activities for customers. The systems include Server, PC, Network equipment,
Application software, Custom made programs, and PBX. The sales support includes but not limited to
extending technical advises and assistances to sales representatives and preparing proposals for the
customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. System Integration and support
a. Manage and implement various projects related to Server, PC, LAN, WAN, VoIP, and Applications
such as EDI and ERP.
b. Day-to-day operation support for customers who has maintenance agreement
c. Research and develop custom solutions to meet customers’ requirements for their IT needs
2. Sales support
a. Visit customers to meet and hear their IT needs and develop relationship with them
b. Prepare proposals and present to customers
EDUCATIONAL & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
The technician is required to have following skills:
1. Professional Server, PC, Network skills
2. Experience in SI project management
3. Interest and experience in programming
4. Experience in application development and maintenance are preferred
5. Ability to positively communicate with customers
6. Ability to report the result of trouble shooting
7. Understanding or preference of Japanese culture and/or language
